Not a people or a place in the world, this painting is purely symbolic. A point at which my conscience began to evolve (my late 20s) as I realized how my activities in life had seriously compromised the health of people who cared about me. The babies are sucking the life from her (getting fat), and she continues to unconditionally love and support them to the end. I dedicate this painting to my parents and although this is not a pretty image it had to convey my true feelings and to show them that I acknowledge that I would not be here without them. For me that sort of love cannot be bought for anything in the universe.
