The original photograph (taken from the Pixabay.com website) was very relaxing and atmospheric and I thought it would reproduce nicely in sepia. The waves are very effective with their white crests and I am very pleased with the end result.
This artwork is completed using soft pastels and pastel pencils on Art Spectrum Colourfix paper. The sharpened pencils create the detail and the background is blended using polystyrene sticks to give a three dimensional effect to the completed painting.
This painting is framed and for sale. Delivery by courier is not included in the sale price.
