A portrait of Sir Patrick Moore the well known British astronomer who presented ` The Sky at Night` television programme for many years. The image is painted in an alien green colour as homage to the character `The Mekon` in the Dan Dare comic strip and has the solar system embossed on his domed head. It also includes his famous monocle which he wore in his later years.
