This Water Color Painting is done on a 300gsm/140lb water color paper.
The size is 22 inches X 30 inches (without frame and approximately 37 inches X 45 inches when matted and framed).
It is a figurative female composition in an impressionistic representational style.
The focus is on the Back Side of a Female. The pose of the model is twisted kind of to make an interesting composition. Special lights are recreated on the model to direct the eye, creating movements and dynamism. Subtle strokes are used to highlight the creases and folds of the Wrapper and Headscarf.
The yellows, ochres and burnt siennas create warmth.
