Something about this set-up of four pears originally designed in my studio for a small still life stuck with me. I've used it in three paintings - once in that small piece, as a prop in the large group portrait'The Critics'and here in'Pears on the Window Table'. The landscape is a variation on a Thiebaud scene. It is an acrylic/oil painted on Arches heavy cold pressed paper primed with Utrecht gesso. The paper was then mounted on a cradled beechwood panel. This is an extremely durable surface. It will be shipped prepared for hanging. It is offered here at a nice reduction from its gallery price of $3600.00
